If you’re a patient at our practice aged 13 and over you can use the NHS App to access a wide range of NHS services on your smartphone, tablet or with a web browser on NHS.uk.
To use some services you will need to verify your identity. You can learn how to register and verify your identity here.
You can use the NHS App to get health advice, book appointments, order repeat prescriptions, view your GP health record and more:
- Get Health Advice – Linked to Ask First
- Book and manage appointments – Linked to Ask First
- Manage Hospital Referrals
- Get Fit notes (Sick Notes)
- View your GP Record Securely – Including medical history, test results, allergies and medicines
- Order repeat prescriptions
- Nominate a pharmacy – Choose or change pharmacy where your prescription will be sent to
- Send and receive messages from your GP Practice securely (Remember to switch on push notifications to enable this)
- View Proxy Access (Linked Profile) – Access the appointments and prescriptions for people you care for (including children) -or get help from someone you trust
- Download your NHS COVID Pass for travel abroad
- Book or manage vaccination appointments
- Search symptoms, conditions and treatments
- Get NHS 111
- Take part in health research
- Choose if data from your health record is shared
- View your NHS number
- Manage your organ donation decision
- Find NHS Services
If you already use Ask First you can continue to use it. You can use the NHS App as well.
