From 1st April 2025, we will no longer offer same-day urgent appointments at New Mill Street Surgery without clinical triage, due to service demand. We are introducing an urgent total triage system. Patients requesting an urgent appointment must provide information relating to their urgent health concern using our online form. You can also request a link to this form by phone or get help from a receptionist to complete the form.
We will try our best to review urgent requests submitted before 3pm on the same day. Any submissions after 3pm will be reviewed the next working day.
Our clinicians will either contact you by phone or text with outcome of your request. Please ensure that you are available to answer calls.
For emergencies that cannot wait for clinical triage, please visit your nearest A&E department or urgent care centre. Routine appointments remain available for booking as usual.
