Bermondsey Tube Station is a 9 minute walk.

The surgery is well served by the local bus network. The nearest bus stops are on Jamaica Road which is the main road from the surgery. The buses are 78, 188, 42 and C10. Visit Transport For London to stay up to date with travel arrangements.

British Sign Language (BSL) users can contact us via BSL video interpreter Monday to Friday from 9am to 4.30pm. Further information about how to use the service is available on the InterpretersLive NHSE website. There is also a BSL video about how to download the app.

Accessibility

  • Disabled parking – The Blue Badge Scheme is for people with severe mobility problems. It allows Blue Badge holders to park close to where they need to go.
  • Disabled WC – The toilets located on the ground floor have wheelchair access and a baby changing facility.
  • Induction loop – We have a portable loop induction system located at Reception to assist the hearing impaired. For more information on the loop hearing system visit Hearing Link website.
  • Signing service available –  British Sign Language users can communicate with the practice using a British Sign Language video interpreter, via the Interpreters Live service free of charge. Patients can use a free British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter video service to help with things like medical appointments, calling the GP surgery or speaking to a pharmacist.   • Translation service – An interpreting service is available for patients whose first language is not English and who do not have a family member of friend to interpret or for more confidential health matters.   • Step free access – We have step free access to the surgery allowing ease of access for wheelchair users. All the patient areas are located on the ground floor,  including the waiting room, the consulting rooms.
  • Guide Dogs – Guide dogs are welcome at the practice but we ask that you be aware of other patients and staff who may have an allergy or fear of dogs. Please visit the guide dog website for further information.
  • Baby changing facilities are available in the patient toilet
  • Breastfeeding – All mothers will be enabled and supported to feed their infants in the Practice premises. Parking

  • Disabled parking bays are located in front of premises. Blue Badge holders only. 
  • Cycle parking is available outside the Dockhead fire station
  • Limited meter parking available close to the surgery
  • There are several car parks close to the surgery you can use if there are no spaces available (local charges apply).

The Surgery will be closed on every third Thursday of each month, from 1pm until 4.30pm, for staff training.
